Bill is currently EVP of Strategy at Chirisa Inv and advising several Private Equity, Data Center, Energy and Technology organizations. He was previously the subject matter expert and advisor to the internal Investment Bank at Credit Suisse on new businesses; Data Center, Technology, Energy and Environmental, Innovation products and services.
Prior to Chirisa, Mr. Beck was a Global Managing Director for Credit Suisse. He joined Credit Suisse in June 2003 from Globix Corporation, where he was Global Head of Real Estate, Construction, Facilities Engineering and Data Center Operations, prior to that, Mr. Beck worked at Railworks/L.K. Comstock Corporation, formally part of Schneider Corporation’s Spie Batignolles Construction and Operations Division. Where he led the design and construction of various commercial power plant, industrial and data center related projects.
He is an Executive Manager recognized as an Industry leader across multi-disciplinary areas on both a global and regional scale. Subject matter expert spanning the development, design, construction and operational management of critical and non-critical infrastructure assets, operations management and technology. Expert in evaluating and creating total solutions having an owner’s, consultant, service supplier and contractor’s expertise and perspective. Recognized and awarded as being a global innovation leader in exploring, developing and deploying new technologies while leveraging sustainable projects to offset operational costs and minimizing operational risk.

Bill’s career includes over several hundred data center related transactions in the US, North and South America, Europe and Asia. He has led the strategy and the acquisition, disposition, development, design, construction and portfolio operational management both direct and colo across multiple portfolios.
This equates to several million square feet of data center and technical facilities and well over 2 billion dollars across both the capital and operational expense areas.
He also has extensive relationships on a National and Global basis across all industry and client areas of Banking, Technology, Data Centers, Government, Utilities as well as Sustainability and Environmental Agencies.
Industry leading development and deployment of global energy procurement and innovation strategies, environmental sustainability management and the ISO 14001 programs during his tenure at Credit Suisse.
Recognized and awarded for global innovation, product and project management as well as operational process management solutions. This includes “green:” initiatives i.e. Thermal Ice Storage, Fuel cell, Solar (thermal and electrical), water reclamation, thermal reflective skin, Energy, demand response demand management, LED (2005), process control and sensor deployment, Edge IoT and AI based technologies (critical system and workplace).
Has successfully created and managed multiple organizations responsible for all critical and non-critical mechanical and electrical systems infrastructure for Credit Suisse, Goblix and LKC. This includes Data Center facilities, Work Place, Energy and Sustainability and Product Management. Responsible for the development, design, project management and engineering operations within the Global: Corporate Real Estate and Services (CRES), Information Technology (IT) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) initiatives and projects.
Mr. Beck has a Master’s Degree in Management Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Procurement Professional and a licensed Master Electrician.
Bill is a board member of the 7×24 Exchange Metro New York Chapter. the Board of Trustee of the Somerset Hills Learning Institute (Affiliated with the Princeton Child Development Center for Autism Research), Board member and Senior Advisor for multiple industry technology /energy companies.
